Cheviot Asset Management and Cenkos Securities haven chosen eflow to cover all of their Post-trade Monitoring requirements  – December 2011

With the recent draft ESMA guidelines, intended to reduce the potential for market abuse and manipulation, and the upcoming MiFID II and market abuse directive proposals, there has been increased purchasing of Real-time and T+1 monitoring solutions in the market. As such trading firms have a greater reliance on specialists software vendors to provide a standardized automated process, where previously this was fragmented and inconsistent.

Evidence of this recent activity is shown by the decision by both Cheviot Asset management and Cenkos securities to take eflow's TransacTzar trade surveillance system.

Cheviot Asset Management, is one of the UK's largest Independently owned discretionary investment firms. Based in Central London and Liverpool, they focus exclusively on structuring and managing bespoke  investment portfolios for private clients, trusts, charities and pension funds.

Cenkos Securities is an independent specialist securities firm focused on UK small and mid-cap companies. Based in London and Guernsey (Cenkos Channel Islands Limited) their principal activities are corporate finance, corporate broking, Institutional stockbroking, investement funds, institutional equities and market making.

Abide Financial team with eflow to transform Transaction Reporting Services for Capital Markets – July 2011

Abide Financial (Abide), presently launching TransacPort; it's suite of services for transaction processing and reporting services, have contracted with eflow to act as its development partner. Abide Financial chose eflow to build TransacPort, using their “PATH” platform which has benefited from 20 years deployment in the market, lending Abide a maturity to its service platform that could not have been guaranteed should the platform have been developed in-house.

Abide and eflow working together, has resulted in a service being delivered in rapid time, combined with an inherent flexibility in the platform to respond to regulatory changes quickly but also to Abide's client demands. This places Abide in a very strong launch position in terms of availability and flexibility of the platform.

“Abide Financials absolute focus in offering best value and service to the market complimented eflow's culture perfectly, and quickly we could see a fit between our companies’ objectives”, commented Marsha Parker, Managing Director of eflow. The flexibility in PATH provided us with a great starting point for the TransacPort service, and allowed us to develop a system incorporating the regulatory requirements, founding clients feature requests and business logic from Abide”

Collin Coleman, Managing Director of Abide Financial commented, “To develop TransacPort from scratch was a possibility, but teaming with eflow has given us many benefits. The core platform has been in use for 20 years, delivering a stable foundation. eflow were experts in developing this type of service so time and cost to market were substantially reduced. This offers our clients the best of both worlds, a proven platform offering reduced risk, and allowing Abide to rapidly configure the service to offer market leading functionality and benefits.”

Abide Financial provide transaction services for capital markets, and are in the approval phases with the FSA for TransacPort ARM and ARM+ services. TransacPort HUB is available today.

Eflow provides market-leading business process management, monitoring and workflow software primarily for the financial industry. Eflow, a UK-based company, develops and markets the unique PATH (peer application transaction hub) technology.
